For as long as I can remember, I've believed that each of us is shaped by a unique element of nature, something that resonates deeply within us and influences who we become. For me, that element has always been the Sun. The source of life and energy. Growing up in Damascus, Syria where the Sun is almost always shining, this became more than just a fact of nature—it became a metaphor for life. No matter how heavy the rain, a sliver of sunlight would eventually break through, bringing warmth and hope.
Damascus, the Land of Jasmine, a place of deep, enduring love for me, filled with countless beautiful memories. Yet, even from a young age, Yet, from a young age, I dreamt of exploring the world. I embrace change and thrive on new experiences. My academic journey reflects this spirit. I went to university twice: first to earn a Bachelor of Arts, and later out of passion, a Bachelor of Business, which I completed while pregnant with my first child. Speaking of children, I have two wonderful kids, and I deeply value motherhood, which has enriched my life in countless ways.
However, life in Syria took a dramatic turn with the onset of war. My husband and I, faced with the need to ensure the safety of our young family, made the difficult decision to leave our home and start anew in Dubai. It was a daunting challenge, but like the Sun breaking through the clouds, we found a way to build a new life.
My career in Syria had been diverse and enriching. I started in Training and Development, moved to UNICEF's communication section, and later took on a leadership role in recruitment at Syria's first telecommunications company. These experiences allowed me to connect with and understand people from all walks of life. In Dubai, I continued this journey, starting in Human Resources at a leading events equipment company, eventually becoming the HR Manager. Later, I joined Union Properties, one of Dubai's largest companies, as an HR Manager before transitioning into the education sector. Each step in this journey was a testament to my resilience and adaptability, always learning, always growing.
My professional path brought me into contact with people from all over the world—different countries, backgrounds, mentalities, and perspectives. This diversity enriched my understanding of human nature and became the foundation of my strength and experience.
In 2020, as the world faced the global pandemic, I discovered my true calling in coaching. The need for empathetic listening and support was more urgent than ever, and I immersed myself in the principles of positive intelligence, dedicating myself to helping others navigate their personal and professional challenges.
Then, in 2023, my world was shaken by the sudden loss of my younger brother. This profound tragedy halted my ability to support others as I grappled with my own grief. It took a year of healing and reflection to regain my footing. But just as the Sun finds its way through the clouds, I found my way back to my passion—helping individuals overcome their struggles and guiding them back to the path they seek.
